General practitioners and nurses of Perechyn and T. Remetivska territorial communities took part in a training organized by the Center for Public Initiatives on psychological aspects of working with Roma and prevention of “professional burnout”. The event was held within the initiative “Good Parents – Happy Children”, supported by the Carpathian Foundation within the Early Childhood Development Program, funded by Porticus, Austria.
Tetyana Khoroshilova, a psychologist and a representative of the partner public organization “Zakarpattia-Donbass”, was involved in the training.
Ms. Tetyana noted that doctors are the second largest group in the world in terms of “professional burnout”, so this problem needs to be seriously addressed. The expert suggested several ways to solve this problem.
Ivanna Golovey, Director of the Perechyn City Council Inclusive Resource Center, also told the audience about the services provided by the IRC.
It was also informed about the new IRC service for early child development (patterns of development of motility, speech, communication and emotional sphere of the child from birth to 3 years).
The participants of the training expressed their desire to continue similar meetings in the future.
